Qualifications: You must be 25 years or older with a valid Driver’s License, a major Credit Card in your name, and have full vehicle insurance coverage which also covers rental vehicles.

Please Note: Vehicle is due back at 6:15 pm on final day of rental -- Late returns are available upon request. All vehicles are pet-free and smoke-free and GPS tracked to ensure paved road only driving.

Our island is about unplugging, relaxing and recharging by spending the day swimming in the dolphin filled bay, playing with a sanctuary filled with 750 cats, or exploring the historic pineapple plantation town of Lāna'i City. The island of Lāna'i is tiny -- only about 140 square miles -- with about 30 miles of paved roads.

Renting from us, you will be able to visit the best spots on Lāna'i. Drive from the ferry harbor to Hulopo‘e Beach Park and marine sanctuary, up to our only town, out to the Lāna'i Cat Sanctuary, across to sea cliffs, down to the barge harbor, past Lāna'i City to the stables and all the way down to the Shipwreck/Keomoku coast (where you can hike the coastline for miles in both directions.)

We live on one of the most remote islands in the Hawaiian chain. Most of Lāna'i is not traversable by land, even by foot. When you come to Lāna'i, itʻs like stepping back in time. Think 1950s. No traffic lights, no Costco, no Target, no Walmart, no McDonald’s ... we don’t even have a Starbucks. Residents are resourceful and have learned to live pretty much unplugged from the demands of modern times. Our island has one of the most rugged countrysides of any Hawaiian island and has the highest population of free range axis deer on the planet.
