Three ways to get to the island of Lana‘i:

Boat/Plane from Maui, or Plane from O‘ahu

Advanced boat reservations are mandatory. The passenger ferry is 45 minutes from harbor to harbor. For the perfect day trip, we recommend arriving on the first boat (departs Maui 6:45am arrives Lana‘i 7:30am) and departing on the 2:30 or 5:30pm boat, which gives you time to catch dinner and sunset in Lahaina.

Daily flights operate between the islands of O‘ahu and Lana‘i or Maui and Lana‘i via Mokulele Airlines.

For the perfect day trip, we suggest taking the first and last flights of the day. The first flight usually leaves O‘ahu just before 9am, and for a limited time, Monday and Wednesdays offer an extra early 7am flight. The last flight leaves Lana‘i just before 8pm. The airline requires you to check-in 90 minutes prior to departure. Flights are often delayed, so be sure to request their text alerts.
